March Holiday Economics Intensive | 19-20 March 2026 | Onsite, Zoom, or On-Demand
8 topics. 24 exam questions. A structured March holiday A Level Economics crashcourse that actually moves the needle—delivered by ETG's senior tutor team.
You start with good intentions. You'll finally catch up. You'll do timed practices. You'll sort out Market Failure once and for all.
Then reality hits: without structure, the days slip by. You review notes but aren't sure if you're reviewing the right things. You try a past-year question but get stuck—and there's no one to explain where you went wrong.
By the time school resumes, the gaps are still there. And now block tests are two weeks away.
"This isn't about discipline. It's about leverage."
The students who improve fastest aren't the ones who study longest—they're the ones who study smart. Who get expert feedback. Who see how an A-grade answer is actually constructed.
That's what these two days are designed to give you.
There are plenty of tuition centres offering March holiday programmes. Most of them teach five, six, seven subjects—Economics is just one item on the menu.
ETG is different. We've been Singapore's specialist A Level Economics tuition centre for 19 years. JC Economics tuition is all we do.
That means every framework we use, every exam question we've analysed, every refinement to our methodology comes from nearly two decades of focus on H2 Economics and H1 Economics. Our materials aren't adapted from a general template—they're built specifically for the A Level Economics syllabus, refined year after year based on what actually helps students score.
When you attend an A Level econs crashcourse here, you're not getting a generalist's take on Economics. You're getting the concentrated expertise of Singapore's specialist JC Economics tuition centre.
Years
Specialist Focus
Here's the problem most students face: you understand the concept when you read it, but when you see it in an exam question, you freeze. The question doesn't look like your notes. You're not sure what they're really asking. You know the content is in there somewhere, but you can't connect it to what's on the page.
That's because knowing a concept and recognising how it's tested are two different skills.
This crashcourse builds both—and shows you how they connect.
We start with the 3-5 concepts per topic that students consistently misunderstand or struggle to articulate. These aren't obscure details—they're the building blocks that keep appearing in exam questions. We make sure you actually understand them, not just recognise them.
Now we show you how those same concepts appear in actual exams. We work through 3 exam questions together—not just giving you model answers, but walking you through the process: How do you read the question to identify what concept they're testing? How do you structure your response? How do you write evaluations that actually score?
The Result
You leave each lesson understanding both the concept and how examiners test it. When you sit for your block tests, you'll recognise question patterns you've seen before—and know exactly how to respond.
Across 8 lessons, that's 24 exam questions connected back to the concepts that drive them.

ETG's Topical Consolidation Crashcourse is a 2-day intensive A Level Economics revision programme held during the March school holidays. It covers 8 major H2 Economics topics across 12 hours (8 sessions × 1.5 hours), with each lesson split into concept teaching and exam question practice. The crashcourse is designed for JC1 and JC2 students taking H1 or H2 Economics who want structured consolidation before block tests or preliminary examinations.
Yes. J2 H2 Economics students attend all 8 lessons covering the full syllabus. J2 H1 Economics students attend 7 lessons (skipping Session 4: Firms & Decisions, which is H2-only content). J1 H2 students can attend 4 microeconomics-focused sessions (Sessions 1, 4, 5, and 6) to strengthen their foundations before J2.
Yes. Many students scoring A or B grades attend to close any remaining conceptual gaps and to observe how ETG's senior tutors approach and structure exam answers. You'll likely discover angles, evaluation techniques, and question interpretation strategies you hadn't considered. If you want to ensure no blind spots before major exams, this crashcourse is for you.
Yes. Each lesson deliberately begins with concept clarity—addressing the 3-5 key concepts per topic that students most commonly misunderstand. We don't assume prior mastery; we build understanding from the ground up before showing how those concepts appear in exam questions. This structure helps struggling students catch up while still challenging stronger students.
The 8 topics covered are: (1) Market Failure, (2) AD-AS & Macro Issues, (3) Macroeconomic Policies, (4) Firms & Decisions, (5) Demand, Supply & Elasticities, (6) Rational Decision Making, (7) Macroeconomic Policies in Singapore, and (8) Living Standards & Indicators. These topics span both microeconomics and macroeconomics and represent the areas most frequently tested in A Level Economics examinations.
All registered students receive full access to recorded lesson videos, available within 48 hours of each session. Your recording access is valid for 3 months. You can register for the full programme and use recordings for any sessions you miss, whether due to scheduling conflicts or if you simply want to revisit the material.
Yes. All registered students receive the ETG Topical Consolidation Textbook, which includes concept breakdowns for all 8 topics and full model answers to all 24 exam questions covered during the crashcourse. Soft copy (PDF) is included with all registrations. Hard copy is available for a $29 top-up, or complimentary for the first 30 registrants.
No. This is a targeted revision intensive, not a replacement for weekly tuition. The crashcourse is designed specifically for consolidation and exam preparation—helping students connect concepts they've already encountered to how those concepts appear in exam questions. It complements rather than replaces ongoing JC Economics tuition or school lessons.
The crashcourse is delivered by ETG's senior tutor team: Ms Arina (Economics graduate, 5 years with ETG), Ms Cherilyn (SMU Economics, Dean's List all 4 years, Lee Kong Chian Scholar), and Mr Kevin (Economics graduate, M.Sc. Financial Engineering, 6 years tutoring experience). The programme and materials were designed by Mr Eugene Toh, ETG's founder and one of only two authors of the official A Level Economics TYS answers published by SAP Education.
Early bird pricing (for Telegram subscribers at @ETGECONS): J2 H2 (8 lessons) is $380 onsite or $300 online; J2 H1 (7 lessons) is $360 onsite or $290 online; J1 H2 (4 lessons) is $200 onsite or $100 online. Regular pricing is $880, $770, and $440 respectively. All registrations include 3-month access to lesson recordings.
